The Presence of Love

Dear Ones,

As one of our meditations falls directly on Valentine’s Day, I am dedicating this week’s meditations to the Presence of Love. I won’t limit it only to romantic love, which is one of the beautiful and unique expressions of love, but certainly only one of them.

From the highest point of view, unconditional love is that which holds everything together – the stars, the moon, and all the galaxies. It is the same intelligence and wisdom which dwells in our hearts. No one is excluded from the universal heart. All belong, and so in our deepest heart we all already speak the language of love.

Our human experience comes with the acceptance of a veil, our temporary forgetfulness of who we truly are. And so the greatest secret of our true identity is kept secret until the day we start awakening and remembering it. It’s like we are supremely wealthy but somehow no one told us, so we don’t know it and keep living like beggars. At the deepest core of who we are is the well of infinite love, but we don’t know it and so we keep searching for love everywhere – in everything and everyone.

It is a divine play of hide and seek. It is like love hides from itself and then, in perfect divine timing, reveals itself to itself. And so, as humans, we often believe so unequivocally that we ARE our beliefs, repetitive thoughts, and feelings, and we completely identify with each of them and totally miss the bigger picture – that we already ARE this all-embracing loving awareness in which all inner and outer experience appears and manifests.

When we finally see clearly, we might be literally struck by this astonishing discovery of our own beauty and the immense love that we are. One moment we might feel so limited and contracted, and the next we experience ourselves as the vast ocean – an ocean of love! From then on, we can’t forget ever again and we never go thirsty again. Our love is freed and reflects into our external reality and all our relationships.

This doesn’t mean that we forget our balance and invite everyone into our home, although true love is free, so this too might happen to some of us 🙂 There is no rule book for the real love that we are, and yet this love has such a natural intelligence and natural wisdom. It can equally say yes and no in all our relationships, as it is connected to our authenticity and respects our uniqueness and unique choices. But there is no longer any judgement, and both yes and no are naturally aligned with the highest good of all.

We won’t hold back anymore. We won’t be paralysed by fear and overthink each step in the dance of love. We allow ourselves to dance freely and allow the wisdom of the present moment to take care of each step on the dance floor of the manifested world. We fully allow love to carry us, sustain us, and naturally overflow to others. And most of all, we won’t ever be fooled again by the stories that it is somewhere “out there” and that we have to search for it.

And so, dearest One, can you see clearly that love is exactly where you are right now?
