Have you’ve heard about Law of Attraction? Maybe you’ve seen the film The Secret and maybe you are intrigued by the idea? So first what is Law of Attraction? Simply put, you can think of the world around you as a big mirror constantly and consistently reflecting back to you what is happening within you – the thoughts you think, your feelings and your moods. Like attracts like or as within so without. It basically all starts with you. I believe this is one of the most powerful and potentially life changing teachings you can come across at this time. But if you are not practically using it, it means nothing. I am here to encourage you to put it into practice and see for yourself. It’s a very practical teaching, so you will be able to see the difference nearly instantly. Here are 7 steps you can use every day to manifest the life you love.
1. The morning is the most important time for applying what you know about Law of Attraction. The energy with which you step into your day can carry you for the rest of your day. If you want to transform your life, the morning is the time to do it. You can start with a meditation, continue with a gratitude journal and end up with envisioning the best day you could imagine. The most important thing is to stay connected to the way you feel. Whatever you do, it should make you feel good and/or better.
2. Pause frequently during your day. Be present. Take a deep breath and notice how you feel. Notice if your body is relaxed or if you are tense. If there is some tension, just take a deep breath and release it. Notice your thoughts. Are there any thoughts causing the tension? Is there a better perspective you could find in this moment? Imagine talking to your best friend. What would you say to them to soothe them? What would you say to make them feel better? Say the same to yourself. You could write it down too, if you’ve got an opportunity to do so. It often helps to focus your mind. Notice the feeling, if you feel a relief, you did it. You not only shifted your feeling, but your energy and now you attract more pleasing things into your life…Well done!
3. Practice appreciation. Practice gratitude. When you do so, you activate wonderful energy. I feel that the appreciation is one of the most powerful ways to attract more abundance. The most important thing about appreciation is, that it has to be genuine. You have to really feel it. So if it’s far out of reach for you today, don’t force it, don’t worry about it. Instead hold an unconditionally loving space for yourself. Which brings me to the next step. Self-love.
4. Practice self-love. Self-love will always point you in the right direction. Don’t worry if you feel you are a beginner in the art of self-love. And it really is an art! It’s something you can get better and better at with time. So don’t give up, if the first efforts don’t go too well. Patience with yourself is an important part of self-love. Pause during your day and notice how you talk to yourself, how you think of yourself. If there is something which needs to change, go back to step 2 🙂
5. Expand the way you think of yourself and what is possible for you. Give it some thought. Foster a belief in yourself and that you deserve the best. Not in a demanding way, but rather an innocent way – like children expectant of having their wishes fulfilled. What would be the highest vision for yourself and your life? Daydream about it. Write it down. Make a vision board and place it somewhere where you can see it. Important note: Do all envisioning when you feel really good, as only then you’ll have the right perspective. If you don’t feel good, go back to Self-love otherwise known as step 4 🙂
6. As often as you can, reconnect to the innate joy within. It’s much simpler than you think. Joy is who you really are, under all layers of your conditioning or your moods. It’s something no one can ever take from you. And you reconnect to it when you open your heart and eyes to so many blessings already happening all day long around you. Notice the babies. Notice the happy dogs on the street. Don’t miss the waiter’s joke. Smile more easily. Laugh more easily. If there is nothing humorous, maybe you could at least laugh at yourself? Maybe you are quite amusing in how seriously you take yourself? 🙂
7. Evening. The same way the morning is important, so is the evening. The same feeling/energy you go to bed with, you’ll pick up when you wake up. So make sure you’ll go to bed with a good feeling. Be kind to yourself. Do something you really love. It can be as simple as taking a bath, listening to music, reading a book or watching a movie which you know for sure will make you feel good. Then when you feel really good, you could perhaps gaze at your vision board and imagining that all you want has already happened. How would you feel? What would be a physical response of your body to your dreams being fulfilled? Would you feel happy? Content? Satisfied? Relaxed? Connect to the feelings in a real tangible way. Feel them in your heart and in each cell of your body. If you can fall asleep feeling like this, you did it! Well done! Now, let the magic begin…
