Self-Love

“Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.”  Louise Hay

Dear Ones,

I think I’ll never get tired of seeing the transformation within people and their lives when they start loving and respecting themselves. The change is not always instant, but soon enough and often unexpectedly their consistent inner work gathers momentum and it becomes clearly visible to me and to people around them. This is a moment of triumph and a return to who they really are. And I am so honoured to witness it…Their inner light starts shining brighter, they smile more easily and one by one their self imposed burdens and limitations disappear from their lives. In those moments I can truly feel the immense power of self-love. It feels to me that self-love is like a magical key which opens the doorway to the Divine within with all its gifts. Supreme beauty, supreme power, supreme wisdom all start awakening together with the realisation that happiness and joy are always available no matter what external manifestations are currently there. Simply because that’s who we truly are under all layers of conditioning and so far practised thoughts and moods…So if you read my weekly contemplation and decide to practice only one thing, may it be the life changing art of self-love. You can start right now and ask and answer these questions for yourself: How can I be more kind and loving to myself? Where do I need to respect myself and my needs more? What is my inner monologue, is it supportive or critical?

When people first hear about the idea of self-love they sometimes worry that it’s too self indulgent. But this couldn’t be further from the truth, as the relationship to yourself reflects into all your relationships. So you can be assured that the deepened love you’ll feel for yourself will naturally overflow to others…And here I happen to agree with The Beatles again: Love is all you need 🙂
I am looking forward to meditating with you.
Lots of love,
