Blessings of 2022

Dear Ones,
As we are concluding yet another year, it’s good to focus on blessings of this year. This can include even appreciation and gratitude for challenges this year brought to us. All of us – as unique aspects of the Divine – are always blessed. And these blessings are either obvious and visible to everyone, whether it is true fulfillment in our relationships, work or other areas of life, or they are more hidden and often appear in the form of challenges which teach us something valuable, such as greater ability to love, greater strength, endurance, patience, courage, wisdom, refinement, sensitivity, compassion, confidence or belief in oneself just to name a few.

Our human self often refuses to accept the gifts hidden in challenges and although there is nothing wrong with wishing and having an easy life, I often notice that the bravest souls are interested in growth, depth and expansion which are the natural result of moving through life’s challenges. One of the most common obstacles to fully accept these hidden gifts is that when any challenge arises we automatically fall into the trap of victimhood, pushing against the challenge itself while often unconsciously affirming that we don’t have what it takes to move through it successfully and gracefully.

But I believe the opposite is actually true: We always have exactly what it takes to grow through any challenge. It’s often harder to see it that way especially if we are temporarily identified with the little limited self, often referred to as the ego. The limited ego has indeed only very limited power and our full identification with it is the source of all resistance, struggle and suffering. But once we can move beyond the ego and fully embrace the greater self/ higher self/ true self at the exact same moment we are able to see solutions and start moving towards them. And we might even discover that the journey towards solutions can be exhilarating, joyous, adventurous.

From this greater perspective of the greater self we have the ability to perceive life as a diving play or game and see the challenges as an intrinsic part of this game we all came willingly to play. And because we are then grounded in deeper knowing that we are eternal, indestructible and infinite the game called life loses its gravity and becomes lighter and consequently much more enjoyable. And the lighter it becomes the easier every move towards solutions becomes and so ultimately the game doesn’t feel like a battle but rather like a divine dance where every move forward is not forced any more but rather inspired and even elegant and graceful. That’s when we reach true mastery: We no longer create unnecessary dramas in our lives but neither are we scared of life and its natural challenges…

And so dearest One, can you feel appreciation for all your life presents right now?
I look forward to meditating with you.
Lots of love,
Jana xx
