Dear Ones,
When we realise that in life we basically have two choices – love or fear – it truly simplifies what can appear as a very complex human life. Just take a moment and ponder this: all our human experience, our thoughts, feelings and actions stem either from love or fear. Fear can manifest as insecurity, worry, feeling defensive, overly seeking security, anger, resentment, grief all the way to panic attacks. Love can manifest as joy, peace, contentment, zest of life, curiosity, enthusiasm, expansion, interest or passion.
There is nothing wrong with feeling fear, worry or insecurity. At this point of human evolution it is quite common for most of us to feel them at some points of our lives. So the answer is definitely not to judge, suppress or run from fear. As what we resist persists. Often what could be originally just a fleeting feeling of fear when resisted can stay with us for days, weeks or even years.
When on the contrary we allow, embrace or even welcome any feelings they naturally transmute into higher energy and we feel better. The other effective method is to ask yourself whenever feeling fear What would I have to believe about myself/ the situation/ the person to feel this way? And then you just need to be honest with yourself and see what answer emerges. It usually uncovers a negative belief you still hold onto and this is an excellent opportunity to look at it, question it and finally release it.
So none of us has to be actually afraid of feeling fear. But it’s an entirely different thing to act on it. Of course I am not talking here about not running when chased by a tiger which is generally a good policy! The fears I am writing about here are those given to us by our conditioning in our early years or even later in life: The negative beliefs we often unconsciously subscribe to and still operate from. These when examined closely are never true! So dropping them can be easy, truly liberating or even exhilarating.
It is generally wise not to act from fear. And if you feel inspired, just take a moment and reflect on your life and those times when you acted on fear and what the consequences of those choices were. Life is the best teacher and always guides us forward. Any time we act from a place of fear we limit our life experience further. No matter how it looks on the surface energetically there is consequently contraction and more limitation.
The thoughts of fear can be very persuasive, often telling us that we really don’t have any other choice. But that’s just fear speaking. The truth is we always have a choice. That’s our birthright and no one can take it away from us: Our greatest power lies in the ability to choose. And so we CAN consciously choose love again and again and act from it.
When we do that, when we follow the path of love, the path of joy we’ll feel happy and fulfilled and our life experience will naturally expand further and we will thrive. So again, take time, dearest One, and reflect on those moments in your life when you know for sure you acted from this high energy of love and notice what effect it had on your life.
To me this is what it means living fearlessly. It doesn’t mean never to feel fear again. But it certainly means not to act on it anymore. Letting it dissipate by not feeding it any longer. Allowing it to fade away by not following the fearful voice in your head any longer.
And so, dearest One, set yourself free. Choose love and not fear. If you do so, the voice of love will become a more and more dominant voice within you. It will guide you impeccably and help you to create the life you truly love. The time is now!
I look forward to meditating with you!
Lots of love,
Jana xx
