“When you stop trying to be more,
you remember you are already whole.
That is the deepest form of self-care:
to rest as the Light you’ve always been.” Sage
Dear Ones,
I believe we live in extraordinary times of much inner and outer changes and the times of awakening of who we truly are. For centuries people were conditioned to give their power away to so called external authorities, whether to people in worldly power or so called experts.
But one of the most important aspects of awakening is realising with crystal clarity that each of us is a sovereign being and it is up to each of us what we do with our innate power. In the field of infinite possibilities there are many ways how we can nurture and take care of our inner power and well-being and there are also many ways how we can deplete it.
If you are reading these lines the chances are you yourself are a beacon of light and so it matters greatly not just for your personal life but also for the well-being of the greater community that you no longer deplete your precious energy.
The most common way of depletion is giving our power to negative beliefs and thoughts. And we give them power every time we believe them and identify with them. The research suggests that the majority of our thoughts are actually repetitive and negative but not necessarily true. But we are conditioned to believe that the thoughts crossing our mind are actual facts.
When we fully realise they are not always true we start developing a more healthy relationship to the mind. This healthy relationship is based on healthy distance. When we awaken to the truth that we are an infinite being always resting in oneness we naturally observe the mind from a very balanced place and perspective. We no longer identify with every thought crossing our mind but we don’t see the mind as enemy either. When we are clear of its limitations we can just simply use it only for what it is meant – for practical reasons and for focusing and manifesting.
These clear boundaries we create help us to decline the mind’s negative invitations effectively. We realise that because we each are a sovereign being we always have a choice to accept or decline anything in our lives and that certainly includes the thoughts. When we fully realise that we don’t have to believe negative stories the mind can create literally about anything but instead politely 🙂 decline them we also decline the invitations to emotional rollercoasters and dramas in our lives. And from our own experience we all know how depleting they can be.
The healthy boundaries and the healthy relationship to the mind means we no longer overuse it and so when we don’t need it, we just allow ourselves to rest in the natural deep peace of our true being. And this is one of the most nurturing things we can do for ourselves and effectively support ourselves and others in these extraordinary times.
At the beginning it might feel that we can only rest in this inner peace when we meditate, enjoy solitude, are in nature or in the presence of someone truly peaceful. And although at first these options might be truly helpful, in time we realise we can rest in our effortless being even in the busiest of circumstances or even when the mind is busy.
We simply invite into the foreground that which is usually in the background. The greatest aspect of ourselves, the unity consciousness we are all part of. And this is not something we have to learn to do but rather allow to do.
You yourself are already this infinite ocean of peace, love and joy and you can bathe in it anytime you feel inspired to. Nothing will replenish, nurture, nourish you and take care of you more than this. And it is so simple, so easy. This abiding peace is closer to you than your breath. It is you. It is your true nature. Can you allow it now, dearest One?
Lots of love,
Jana xx
