Your Inner Authority

Dear Ones,

We live at the times where information is so readily available, harnessing what our ancestors were dreaming of. We get online and easily access any information we desire. And although many might find it overwhelming and difficult to disconnect when they need to, the internet itself and the access to the global connection is certainly not to blame. Like any other tools we are privileged to use at the present time, it’s up to us to find the ways which truly work for us.

With so much often contradictory information it’s good to know that we are able to discern what is true and relevant for us and what simply doesn’t apply. Especially if we consciously choose to live authentically, following our inner truth we learn to listen to the resonance within.  With growing understanding of our immense self-worth we also fully embrace our right for preference as we sift through the details of life. It becomes apparent to us that everyone has an unique perspective and in the richness of our diversity we all hold pieces of truth. And so we no longer feel the need to persuade others of our point of view. Yes, we might be inspired to share it but no longer needing others to agree or adopt the same point of view. We often agree to disagree and in reaching this important milestone of our maturity we very tangibly contribute to world peace.

This milestone on our journey is a natural consequence of inner growth. With the gift of awakening we become increasingly aware of our inner authority and we learn to fully trust its great wisdom. Before awakening we are usually conditioned to give our power away in some ways, first to our parents, teachers and other “more important people”. This often continues unconsciously into our adulthood, giving our power away to the government, specialists in the areas of life and other authorities. Unless we were consciously brought up to trust unequivocally the authority within we usually have to find our own way back to it through some sort of initiation when giving our power away didn’t go so well and we learnt from it.  But no matter how we reached this deeper understanding of our inner authority, once found again it can’t be lost any more. We now know its value with no doubt! This doesn’t mean that we are no longer open, teachable or don’t consult with others. But when we do so we listen to the inner resonance, to the calm confident voice within which either says: “Yes, this is for you” or “This has nothing to do with you.” The full recognition of the final say it’s an important part of owning our power fully. And when we do so, nothing and no one can stop us from living life to the fullest any more…
