Allowing Transformation

Dear Ones,

We live in a time of fast changes. Many of these changes might be yet invisible to the naked eye, but they are no less powerful. The majority of any change happens, in fact, first in the realm of the invisible, within us, before it takes shape in the physical world where everyone else can see it.

The hardship of past centuries made humankind believe that change is inherently difficult. So today, we might sometimes feel apprehensive even about the most beautiful changes in our lives. Humorously, this is one thing we are changing collectively now—the way we define change. Although it can feel uncomfortable at times, especially to the small self—often called the ego—who likes to control everything, it is actually much more difficult to resist change than allow it. This is well captured by the famous sentence by Albert Einstein: “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”

And perhaps change is even simpler and more natural than that. For us who are on the path of awakening, we realise we already ARE what we are seeking. All the love, beauty, intelligence, abundance, and freedom we can imagine are already within us. So the main task is simply letting go of all the beliefs, all the filters obscuring the fullness of the bright light that we ALREADY are. This certainly feels much easier than trying to be “someone better”, someone we are not in this moment, doesn’t it?

Forcing, striving, controlling—the good old strategies of the small self—are no use here 🙂 And so awakening—the real, lasting change—invites us to let go and allow, as these are the language of the greater self we ultimately are. Truth is another wonderful word describing the most profound, lasting change—as life-giving change always means a deeper alignment with our truth.

The ultimate truth of who we are might not reveal itself instantly. For a very few it does, but it seems that for the majority of us it uncovers itself gradually. We see a glimpse of truth, then another, and we move towards it and align our lives with it, while anything illusory, temporary, or simply no longer belonging to us naturally falls away if we allow it—if we stop grasping and clinging to our false, outdated identities.

And so, dearest One, are you ready to let go and allow the next step of your transformation to happen easily and effortlessly?

I look forward to meditating with you.

Lots of love,
Jana
