Gratitude and Allowing the Good

“When we release the push against life, our hands open to receive it.” Sage

Dear Ones,

In the world of duality, it’s easy to focus too much on what needs to change or improve. And although it’s always good to be fully grounded in reality and see clearly, once we see what we would like to change or transform, it’s wise to turn our attention as much as we can towards what we want to create.

We were taught to push against the “unwanted” to the degree that many of us don’t even notice that we are doing it. No one told us the secret of the Universe: that whatever we push against, we are energetically choosing and calling closer, but in a very unconscious way. “Whatever we resist persists” sums this up beautifully.

All aspects of creation are equally valid, as both positive and negative can serve the purpose of the soul. Just as day and night serve our human experience well, both the sun and the moon create a beautiful balance for us. When we invalidate any aspect of existence, we, in a way, invalidate creation, and the disowned aspects of creation come closer to us, asking for our validation.

I find the key word at this point of human evolution is allowing. When we allow all aspects of existence, acknowledging that they might serve something, even if we don’t fully understand what, we paradoxically become more free to choose and create what we truly prefer. When we resist something, it’s like one hand is pushing against something and the other tries to create and receive — it’s awkward, to say the least. In human terms, life becomes a struggle. But when we let go of pushing, our hands are totally free to create and receive the many gifts already available.

One of the loveliest and, at the same time, most powerful practices helping us to free ourselves from a lifelong pattern of pushing against the unwanted is gratitude and appreciation. When we allow ourselves to pause regularly and appreciate the good in our lives, we are gently leaning towards what we prefer and calling it towards ourselves. We become more available for the blessings the Universe is already trying to deliver to us.

Energetically, we stay in a higher vibration, which allows us to flow with life more easily and effortlessly. We see creative solutions more easily and simply have more fun having this unique and wonderful human experience. We are no longer depleted by the exhausting pushing against and consequently have more energy to assist our fellow humans too. But the greatest gift to ourselves and to others is our embodiment of what is truly possible, not just for one of us, but for everyone. Are you ready, dearest One?

Lots of love,

Jana
