 Reclaiming Your Inner Guidance

The voice of wisdom you seek has always been within you.” Sage

Dear Ones,

We live in the age of self-empowerment and so an important aspect of this time of human evolution is fully reclaiming and honouring our own inner guidance. As always, it is good to be gentle with ourselves. We can stay grounded and approach this theme with awareness because an essential part of this is also becoming aware of where and to whom we have been giving our power away.

And so we might now become more aware than ever before of how our personality was shaped by our first authority figures. No matter how well-meaning they were, they often asked us to honour their authority first before allowing us to check in with ourselves. And so the programme of giving our own power away was given to us early on, and for the most part unconsciously.

In many ways this was a part of a divine play — to forget who we are and then start remembering and reclaiming the light, love, and power of who we truly are. So it’s good to let go of any victimhood right at the beginning. It will make our journey to full self-empowerment much easier and more effortless.

Nevertheless, if we notice ourselves being triggered by any realisation, it’s very beneficial to allow any negative — and perhaps previously suppressed — feelings to arise into our awareness and embrace them as they are, while being present with them as best as we can. We no longer have to use the old unconscious tricks of suppression, repression, or dumping our feelings onto others. The journey of fully reclaiming our authority is at the same time a healing journey, and we can honour each step we take.

And as we do, we might notice with clarity that many voices trying to guide us don’t belong to us. Yes, it may be our own mind speaking, but do those thoughts and ideas truly belong to us, or do they actually belong to somebody else — perhaps our parents, teachers, authority figures, or the society we were born into?

We might discover that most repetitive thoughts belong to this category. When we finally allow ourselves to drop those heavy bags we’ve been carrying everywhere we go, we experience the lightness of our true being, perhaps for the first time. And with this lightness we might rediscover the soft voice of our true nature, our true self — our intuition guiding us impeccably throughout life.

It’s not a new voice. It has always been there and it will always be there, but because it is softly spoken and not imposing, it may have been drowned out by the loud noise of the programmed mind. When we fully understand the immense value of our inner intuitive knowing, wisdom, and love, we’ll naturally make space for it and relinquish some of the inner and outer noise and busyness. We allow regular time for meditation, simple moments of stillness, or being in nature, which brings the voice of intuition into the forefront. We learn not only to notice it, but also to honour it and act on it.

And so, dearest One, if you feel inspired, join us for this week’s meditation and allow your intuition to speak to you clearly.I look forward to meditating with you.

Lots of love,
Jana
