The Power of Surrender

When we stop resisting who we are in this moment, life gently reveals who we are becoming.” Sage

Dear Ones,
Self-love always points us in the right direction. So whenever in doubt or at the crossroads coming back to ourselves is a sure way to get unstuck and start moving forward again.

I feel we are called to see ourselves as we are right now “with all imperfections” and at the same time no longer revert to the old patterns such as self-criticism, being hard on ourselves, pushing ourselves to move through any resistance, doubting or second guessing ourselves to name just a few. Most of us already know that these patterns are very unhelpful to say the least and actually achieve the opposite of what we all truly want, which is true happiness.
We can’t criticise ourselves into happiness. We can’t push ourselves into happiness. It never worked and it will never work in future. But our gentle approach has an enormous power as the greatest power requires the lightest touch.

The greatest power within is, always has been and always will be there. Through self-acceptance and self-love we start naturally giving in to this immense benevolent higher power. We start leaning into this stream of goodness and unconditional love until we relax and let go fully.
What we are surrendering to is more than worthy of our surrender. It means allowing this divine flow to carry us to our desired destination which is often even better than we could have ever imagined. The same way as a river flows into the sea when we surrender to this higher intelligence and unconditional love within we are naturally carried towards the greater expression of ourselves.

Being hard on ourselves or judging ourselves is like swimming against the stream. But when we fully acknowledge where we are right now – however imperfect it might seem to the mind – and at the same time we fully embrace it, our next step reveals itself effortlessly and often magically.
No longer being in our way. No longer resisting life as it unfolds. No longer being our own worst enemy, we flow with life easily and effortlessly and allow it to bless us in many – often unexpected – ways.

And so, dearest One, can you surrender now?
I  look forward to meditating with you.

Lots of love,
Jana xx
